Great to find a quiet, rural place to stay, accessible to but away from the noise of the motorway. A comfortable, clean, spacious room looking out on a field of cows and rabbits. Good food and good value.

Lovely country pub and good food Set in a the peaceful countryside, The Dog Inn is the perfect place to go for a mini break. Our evening meal we had was excellent especially for those with a big appetite. The room we stayed in had just been decorated and was no different than any good hotel room. Couldn't fault the breakfast, once again plenty of it! Plenty of country side to walk all the good food off.

FAB !!!!!!!!! We both enjoyed staying at this picturesque inn. This is a proper country inn and a local to boot. Food is varied and plentiful.

Lovely rural location overlooking fields. Three real ales on and the weather was warm enough to sit outside. Good size, comfortable room with bath and shower. We arrived too late to have an evening meal but the breakfast was fantastic!

Excellent little hotel. A clean, comfortable, very hospitable inn. Staff very nice. Very good breakfast. Just wish the shower had been more powerful.

Friendly Reception at the Dog Inn, Knutsford After staying a couple of days in Manchester we were looking for something a bit more "rural" and welcoming, for a few days, while we attended a wedding. We were not disappointed. Trevor our host, while the boss was away, was excellent and showed us to a nicely decorated and quality bedroom. We were treated to a good hearty Breakfast each morning and also ate there two evenings. Food was plentiful and to a good standard. The Chef was also very friendly as were the Waiting and Housekeeping staff. The "Locals", from a great range of social backgrounds, a good mix of ages, were very welcoming and chatty. The Beer was excellent and good value for money. In all a very pleasant stay.

Fabulous place, rooms refurbished to a high quality, evening meal was great and the breakfast was one of the best we'd ever had!

An excellent pub.The food was very good - in fact so much so that although people usually say very good to the serving staff I actually went 'backstage' and complimented the chef personally.

Excellent value, good quality and relaxed. A welcoming public house with accommodation of a high standard. Rooms are very well equipped with good quality furniture and decor. The hospitality tray even included a fresh lemon. The breakfast was excellent and the staff relaxed and friendly. Our party travel far and wide and would all recommend this accommodation.

The room was very well decorated, clean and spacious with a good sized bathroom. The bar area was welcoming with a pleasant ambience and breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
